Sustainability Analyst Intern

Kelsey Alexander works with Sustainable Investment Group’s Consulting team as a Sustainability Analyst Intern. She gathers and evaluates reporting data, verifies LEED compliance, supports project coordinators with proper documentation, and streamlines data acquisition and analytic processes.

Education
Kelsey is a fourth year at Emory University working towards her degree of Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Sustainability. She plans on focusing on sustainability after graduation. She is currently studying to obtain a LEED Green Association accreditation.

Experience
Prior to joining SIG, Kelsey worked as a Sustainable Connections Intern where she became Adopt-a-Stream certified. She also worked as a teacher’s assistant at Emory University for a Fundamentals of Ecology course. Before that, she worked as an environmental camp leader for Trees Atlanta where she taught environmental lessons based on STEM principles, led tree identification, and worked on weekly community service events with the team. She also worked with the Nashville Food Project where she coordinated volunteers, managed garden preparation and planting, and helped with removal of invasive species in the area.

Kelsey played competitive softball for 13 years.
