Mike Sabo assists the technical services engineering team with Energy Audits, Commissioning, and Retro-Commissioning.
Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and a Master of Manufacturing Management (MMM) from Penn State. Mike also has the following licenses and certifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) – Georgia and Maryland
- ACG Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA)
- LEED AP
- AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
- ASHRAE Commissioning Process Management Professional (CPMP)
Mike has 22 years of experience as an engineering consultant in a variety of roles such as energy engineering, operations management, technology improvement, and fluid system design and construction. Most recently, he has focused on facilities engineering and management. Mike’s consulting expertise in this field includes building commissioning, energy audits, facility condition assessments, energy modeling, utility/infrastructure studies, and performance contract consulting. Mike also serves as an advisor on these topics for both public and private clients in a variety of market sectors. He provides a high level of service and has numerous professional references who speak highly of his technical ability.
Mike strives to help clients reduce energy costs and improve operations. He thoroughly enjoys making sure that equipment and systems are designed, constructed, and operated properly. When not working, Mike likes watching any Penn State sports teams, the Braves, and the Philadelphia Flyers. He also loves going fishing and playing sports with his two boys.
