LEED ID+C stands for Interior Design and Construction. This LEED rating system (also know as LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED CI) can be applied to just about any interior build-out that is being built for the first time or renovated. For example, our single-floor office space headquarters inside of a 7-story office building received LEED for Commercial Interiors Gold certification. Some of our consultants with architecture and interior design backgrounds designed the office layout in-house, and we oversaw the construction process to earn LEED Gold. On another project, we helped Clarion Partners National NYC headquarters (approximately 50,000 square feet) achieve LEED for Commercial Interiors Platinum certification. If your build-out or renovation is larger than 250 square feet (and not an entire building), then it should be eligible to pursue LEED CI certification.
